If you are an Industrial music fan and if you lived through the time period or are a fan of it this can touch you deeply. Dark arts of the Fool are filled with crunchy electronics, creepy distorted vocals, heavy electronic beats and decent sampling thrown into the mix.
If you know the name Coum Transmissions the track by American Black Pyramid should be your theme, “wreckers of civilization” vibe, distorted storm of power electronics with few piano notes perfectly sets the sinister tone. The track Bestial Mechanismus is a guttural and alive Post-Industrial techno chimera that serves up body-quaking beats with a venomous noise synthesis to push you out of the comfort zone. It's perfect for a dance floor setting.
The seductive instinctual ritualistic nature of Arkhad's music is perfectly represented in his Taktika. A cap on cataclysmic, unyielding atmospheres soaking in trance inducing, tribalistic, violent tone.. Arkhad explores obsidian like underwater worlds and puts the listener to constant state, chaotic and dense fear. Five Rituals fuses industrial hip-hop song structure with filthy noise and field-recordings that companies dub motives to tell a story about endurance and survival, until the inevitable rot.
Aleksander Jagodziński is a Warsaw born, electronic music “one-man shop for industrial noise” who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts where he developed his interest in art and culture. His distinct voice navigates in all brittle, abstract noise phantasms and glowering industrial ambience that perfectly transmitted in Eusuchia.
Enlightenment and Piss does best in a shockingly succinct way. ASMR recordings and distorted voice, which can sound like it’s being filtered through a rusted fan and granular and modern IDM production techniques that creates a hybrid track between post-industrial ambient and slow-mo gabber that has more to do with infamous flamboyant hardstyle scene minus the cheesy synths.
This release is a fascinating beast with confrontational, and often disgusting music feel, to some, like home.
